Dear Donna and e-partners,
In week 4 I have learned a lot, writing, reading and vocabulary with technology and how to elaborate a lesson plan, I reviewed some examples of it and I did my lesson plan based in the example given by The University of Tennesse, I consider that this is a very complete lesson plan, in a particular case I can say that it was great for me because there was an internal contest at UNACH (Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo) the place I work. This contest is for getting a new working position since nowadays I have a B-level designation as teacher and I applied for upgrading my teacher´s designation to A-level.
As you can guess, I presented the lesson plan based in that on which I learned and what do you believe? I got the highest score.
We as teachers think that we know a lot; however, we are always learning and to learn on the web is amazing because you have opportunities that not all the people have, that is why I know that I must effort a lot because in this way I can also share and my knowledge.

ResponderEliminarMaggie, I have read your blog with enthusiasm and I am really so glad that you are doing alright with reading and writing, and also making your learners think critically by means of six steps. That is great, the internet is best tool for communicating; therefore, we must take advantage from it.
I see that you are very concerned about nature’s conservancy of which I totally agree with you. Every citizen in the whole world must be conscientious of the forest devastation that especially our country Ecuador is suffering from.
The reason of being a school or university is the students, and for the students there must be a teacher, we are clear that E-learning is only a virtual working tool, which without the teacher`s management the reason would be lost.

Your blog motivates to think that as teachers must not only know a lot , but we must know and understand how to deliver effectively the content we have to the taught. I believe that teachers are actual deliverers that comes from darkness to light, the light of knowledge that illuminates human societies. And now as there is a paradigm shift, we as teachers must get familiar with web technology. It is great to hear that you got the highest score.
